I work mainly with upper primary and lower secondary students on English — composition writing, comprehension, and oral. A lot of kids I meet know the grammar rules but freeze up when asked to write a full composition, so I spend the first few sessions just building a simple story-planning habit before we touch exam papers. I also run short oral conversation drills every lesson since that's the part students tend to neglect until the exam is close.
My daughter used to dread composition. Amanda's planning method actually made it click for her.
Good with oral practice especially. Would recommend for kids who are shy speaking up.
